Rough ceramic industry
By means of a series of chamber filter presses, the finest fraction <63 mu is processed to Granulite. Granulite has a constant quality and is frequently used as a filling material in the rough ceramic industry. Besides purity, it has a favorable effect on moisture transport inside the stone. This results in an energy advantage during the baking process in the oven.
Besides Granulite, Microsand is being used in the rough ceramic industry. This sand is produced by means of a series of cyclones, which gives Microsand a very constant particle distribution. Microsand is offered in two qualities: Bestone® and Scottish granite.
